My client is a global leading Fund and Corporate services provider based in the City of London. They are looking for a Senior Manager within their Client Accounting department to start ASAP on an initial 6 month contract. All being well, this would then be extended further.

• Preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts
• Preparation of annual statutory financial statements and preparation of group consolidatedstatutory accounts (IFRS & UK GAAP)
• Calculating effective interest rates of financial instruments.
• Liaising directly with auditors and managing audit process.
• Preparation of tax declarations to UK tax authorities (VAT, P11D assistance, CIS, Intrastat etc)
• Continual assessment of procedures and controls and implementing process improvement as necessary.
• Responsible for associated transaction monitoring.
• Responsible for the management of client banking accounts and necessary banking administration.

This role deals directly with senior members of the business internally and with external clients so you must have experience of and be comfortable with liaising at this level on a regular basis.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA or equivalent) with solid knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS102) accounting standards. Financial Services experience is essential.
