This new opportunity for a Financial Planning Manager is business critical to this international, multi-product organisation. Working directly with the Head of Function, your key remit will be to manage all aspects of revenue and demand, services levels, inventory levels, profit margins and cash flow.
You'll have a superb pedigree in building cash flow/forecasting models, and will have a full appreciation of the supply chain function, and how this feeds in to ensuring delivery is met and exceeded in a world where demand fluctuates on a daily basis. Your ability to drive the team to analyse customer behaviours and patterns will be second to none, and you'll lead the team in providing this information to ensure that sales targets are consistently met, and to ensure competitive advantage is maximised.
With a true commercial/entrpreneurial approach to finance/supply chain, you'll have a real flair for recognising where business oppportunities need to be maximised, and where potential risks to trading exist. Making key buisness decsions and assumptions in 'what if' scenarios will be an absolute given in this role, and you will be able to 'parachute' in to reognise strengths and weaknesses in the current process. Weekly financial updates will be part of your hectic month, and you'll present this information to Heads of Department, and to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
You'll constantly be looking at continous improvement, and how forecasting models can be further improved for use across the business. This is a pivotal role and needs someone who is proven in the world of retail, manufacturing, FMCG.
