A boutique Investment Bank are currently looking for an extra pair of hands to see them through the Year End process. Whilst the bulk of the work will be focussed more on the preparation of the statutory accounts you will also be required to assist finance in other areas when required. The role will feed directly into the CFO and my client are looking for someone who will be able to run the process with little hand holding.

• Responsibility of the delivery of the annual accounts
• Own and publish timetable across key stakeholders
• Co-ordination of the external audit process
• Preparation statutory account templates
• Preparation of draft statutory accounts
• Preparation of board papers, and additional papers/letter of support
• Processing of audit adjustments through the accounts
• Support standardisation of key processes and production of detailed process documentation

Knowledge of how an Investment Bank is run is essential, from the processes down to the products and it is therefore essential you have an Investment Banking background. You will also need to be someone who has run or overseen a Year End process in your recent roles. You will need to be a qualified accountant with knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
