We are currently partnering with a leading global life sciences and diagnostics corporate that is focused on continuous improvement, quality engagement and long-term relationships within their specialised field. With a strong pipeline in place and high-growth planned there now exists an opportunity for a qualified accountant to act as the main point of contact for financial reporting.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for all stand-alone entities and consolidated financial reporting in accordance with IFRS. In addition, you will manage the external audit process and provide technical accounting guidance and ad hoc project support where required - seeking continuous improvement and implementation of SOX and US GAAP. Key to the role will also be managing and developing an Accountant. This role will also be responsible for the quarterly and annual filing documents and required financial press releases.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) and your background will demonstrate strong accounting and technical expertise, most likely from a chartered environment. You will have knowledge of SOX, experience of preparing statutory accounts and ideally providing guidance in relation to US GAAP. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to partner across the business and also lead a direct report.
