An opportunity to join a rapidly growing finance consultancy as an FP&A analyst and take responsibility for the whole finance function and help grow their business.

In the role you will be solely responsible for the whole finance function, from general day to day accounting to preparing management accounts. However due to the relatively small nature of the month end tasks, your main focus will be more on the analytical tasks.

They are looking for someone who has a solid financial analyst background who is forward thinking and can help grow the business by implementing changes and new processes.

This role would suit someone who is interested in data programming, looking to be a valued member of a team and wanting a stable long term position.

It is highly beneficial if you already have some basic knowledge of SQL - they will provide further training regardless of your experience with SQL thus far.

You will be joining a lovely team of 26, they really look after their employees and as such have such a low turnover - They have a wine and beer fridge which gets opened on a Friday afternoon when work is winding down, they go on a lot of strategy days, team days, ski trips etc. and bonuses always get paid out.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare weekly management accounts including KPIs
  • Perform monthly P&L and BS reviews and associated reconciliations
  • Draft for review and process quarterly VAT returns
  • Undertaken analysis as required on Company performance, highlighting areas of concern or risk
  • Develop analysis as required to support the development and subsequent measurement of sales strategies
  • Prepare and issue timecard analysis to inform appraisals across the Company
  • Assisting with the preparation of Strategy day reports
  • Develop and prepare analysis to inform forecasting and budgeting in conjunction with the Senior Delivery Team

Requirements

  • Must be at least 2 years PQE (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
  • Must have experience working in FP&A or financial analyst roles
  • SQL experience advantageous
