Really excited to be recruiting for a growing client in Elland. They require an FP&A Management accountant to join their team. You will be reporting to the commercial finance manager, this will role allow the successful candidate to work alongside various stakeholder including both financial and non-financial whilst developing as a management accountant in their career.

Key duties include:

-Preparation of management accounts

-Analysis of companywide expenditure

-Business partnering to provide insightful information and analysis and have the ability to influence decision making.

-Creation and development of various weekly, monthly and quarterly information and reporting

-Forecasting & Budgeting

-Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and controlling general accruals and prepayments.

The successful applicant will be part qualified candidate mid to final stages of a professional accountancy qualification. You must be self-motivated, with a problem solving mind-set and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. In addition, you must have the ability to work independently, whilst collaborating with other team members when required.

You must have strong communication skills and be comfortable in liaising with key internal contacts at various levels within the business, as well as the ability to translate financial information to non-finance staff. Enthusiasm and a proactive attitude are essential.
