The opportunity

My client currently have an exciting opportunity for an Italian speaking Assistant Accountant to join the Finance Shared Services (FSS) to further their development and career. Reporting to the GL Team Lead and responsible for the Italian entity as well as working across the wider GL team, this role will perform the activities required to ensure a timely and accurate period-end, maintain the integrity of the balance sheet, processing of journal entries, and other ad hoc duties.

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Month end close processes
• Journal processing
• SOX and internal controls
• Working in one of our technical streams (GRNI/Fixed Assets/VAT/Leases)
• Other ad-hoc duties

Requirements

• Fluent in Itailian
• A minimum of 12 months in a similar role
• Well organised and comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Collaborating with the wider finance function
• Enthusiastic and proactive
