Job Title: Fund Accounting Supervisor | Dublin | Permanent | Excellent Salary & Benefits

Reporting to the Fund Accounting Manager and Director, the Fund Accounting Manager will be responsible for facilitating the production of the NAV and supervising cash position and OTC reconciliation processes, including trade capture, processing corporate actions and pricing, as well as team development, goal setting and effective mentorship.

Responsibilities:

• Reports to Fund Accounting Director.
• Responsible for production of Fund NAV's in accurate, timely manner and in line with policies and procedures.
• Role requires knowledge of all components of NAV production from Trade processing straight through to Fee Calculation and accrual.
• Variety of Fund types and structures within team.
• NAV deadlines include weekly and monthly valuations.
• Daily interaction with internal and external parties such as Fund Managers, Custodians, Prime Brokers etc.
• Assist in the audit process including preparation of fund financial statements.
• Assist with Ad hoc requests as required and undertake project work when assigned.
• Professional client focussed attitude required.
• Provide guidance, training and mentoring to Fund Accountants, setting goals and monitoring performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or Business related area
• 3-4 years+ experience of working with hedge funds
• Highly numerate and IT Literate
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to perform effectively within strict client deadlines
• Ability to positively influence team members and demonstrate effective leadership skills
