This leading alternative investment management firm, based in Mayfair, is looking for an ACA with at least 4 years of fund accounting experience from a debt, private equity or real estate fund manager.
The firm is a renowned, global business and one of the most reputable names within the industry. You'll be joining a growing, fast paced business which is incredibly entrepreneurial by nature. Further to this, they place a huge emphasis on personality and as such, the culture is fantastic; they recognize that in the modern day, to attract the best, they have to offer work/life balance and flexibility.
In terms of the role, this is the perfect step up for a Fund Accountant or Fund Controller who is looking for a challenge or a Finance Manager who wants a wider scope. Of course, there are reporting elements, month and quarter end fund accounting but 50 % of the work involves deal support/structuring/valuations and ad-hoc project based with the Portfolio Management or Investor Relations teams. You will have autonomy over your own portfolio of funds and be given the responsibility to effect change where necessary. The hiring manager is incredibly supportive but operates relatively hands off; they are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and take the position to the next level.
The size of the business means that progression wise, there are always fantastic opportunities on the horizon; it's never a bad move having this name on your CV. It also means that remuneration is highly competitive on both the base and discretionary bonus - they will always offer an increase on your current package.
If you are ACA qualified with a relevant fund accounting background from PE, debt or real estate and want a broad, commercial role for an incredibly business, then please do not hesitate to apply. Alternatively get in touch directly with Thomas Wesseldine at Marks Sattin.
