Fund Controller - Investor Relations

An experienced Private Equity Fund Controller is required to join a high performing and fast growing firm based in central London. This is a commercial and business facing role that is extremely broad and would offer great exposure to senior stakeholders within business.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Detailed understanding of the fund's partnership agreements, operations, portfolio investments and fund performance models.
  • Developing processes/procedures around external investor queries and internal investor relations demands.
  • Performance calculations and investor reporting across a broad range of funds.
  • Review and preparation of investor reporting, presentations and Fund analysis. This includes drafting the fund investment performance reports each quarter for the Portfolio Managers accurately and timely.
  • Ongoing and ad hoc analysis of Fund performance, calculation of Fund IRR's and other Fund performance measures.
  • Management of fund cash & treasury positions.
  • Assistance with Company Secretarial and Fund Board matters.
  • Ad hoc projects including data for the raising of new funds.
  • Opportunity to assist in fund raising efforts for new fund strategies.

As the successful applicant, you will:

  • Be ACA, ACCA qualified (or equivalent),
  • Have intermediate to advanced excel skills,
  • Be confident and articulate and able to interact with senior stakeholders with ease,
  • Have at least 3 years of experience working with Private Equity or Debt Funds in a similar capacity. That could be in-house, through a Fund Administrator or in a Big4 consultancy firm. Real Estate experience would also be considered if very similar duties had been carried out,
  • Be experienced in managing internal and external stakeholder relationships,
  • Be highly analytical with prowess for working with high volumes of numerical data and transforming this into information helpful for decision making.
