An SME business based in York that has seen substantial double digit growth off the back of a strategy of combined organic and acquisitive growth is now seeking to appoint a Group Account. The role of Group Accountant will be responsible for delivering monthly reporting, supporting the year end process, imbedding strong financial control and ensuring the correct systems are in place to support future growth. Other collaborative responsibilities will include;

• Monthly Management Accounting with commentary and full supporting analysis
• Financial Accounting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Supporting corporate tax and VAT
• Production of KPI and monthly board packs
• Various commercial project work and performance analysis

The role Group accountant is targeting a part or newly qualified CIMA/ACCA with the ability to communicate affectively with operational stakeholders. Reporting into an experienced Financial Controller it is expected that this role will be supported to manage the day to day team overseeing the transactions and processing team.
