Group Finance Administrator

A leading Media company are seeking a Group Finance Administrator to join a growing team on a short term basis. The role will start as a temporary 3 month contract with the chance of going permanent dependent on performance and growth within the company.

We are looking for a Group Finance Administrator who will be responsible for supporting the Group Finance team within the company on a temporary basis. The right candidate will be keen to gain an understanding of transactional processing within the business and apply this understanding to make sure their work is completed accurately and to a high standard. The role will sit within the Group Finance team which is a team of seven people headed by the Group Financial Controller, who reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Skills/Requirements:

Staff Expenses and Company Credit Cards

  • Being the Financial Approver of staff expenses within EoD, the expenses system
  • Ensuring staff adhere to the Group Expenses Policy, including resolving queries relating to expense claims
  • Posting and reconciling staff expenses in the ledger
  • Liaising with AP in Bristol to meet payment processing timings
  • Importing transactions from the bank into the expenses system
  • Completing new Company Credit Card requests
  • Completing a monthly reconciliation for all expense transactions in the period

Purchase and Sales Ledger

  • Processing urgent and one-time payments
  • Raising invoices and self-bill invoices for key contracts in the business
  • Allocating, posting and reconciling payments to suppliers and receipts from customers
  • Processing rent invoices and rent supplier account management
  • Opening new supplier, Direct Debit and customer accounts
  • Assisting the Credit Control team with customer queries
