Group Finance Manager - retained by an International Engineering firm, Marks Sattin are looking for a proven Finance Manager who is used to handling consolidated accounts and reporting across various Group subsidiaries.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Finance Director and with management responsibility over a small team of AAT and Part-Qualified Accounting team, you'll be looking for your next challenge and will have exposure to a technical or engineering field. Having just won a new multi-million pound contract, this organisation is going from strength to strength, and is going through a huge transitional period, so exposure to change management would be hugely beneficial.
On a day to day basis, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Managing all aspects of your Finance team
- Full responsibility for production of monthly Board pack
- Conducting all financial analysis and providing commentary
- Handling all group reporting for both UK and Europe
- Liaising with external auditors in relation to statutory accounting deadlines
- Making recommendations in relation to process improvement and efficiencies
This role requires someone who can react quickly to a fast changing environment, and who can work autonomously, with the ability to decision make. This role brings a very strong level of responsibility, and you'll be absolutely key to the success of the Finance team moving forwards.
