We are currently partnering with a leading finance solutions group that is focused on quality engagement and long-term relationships within their specialised field. There now exists a new part-time opportunity for a qualified accountant to act as the main point of contact for technical accounting.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the statutory accounting and reporting for the group entities. In addition, you will help manage the external audit process and provide technical accounting guidance and ad hoc project support where required, advising on IFRS and new accounting and reporting requirements. The role will also get involved with consolidations and M&A accounting where required.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) and your background will demonstrate strong accounting and technical expertise, most likely from a chartered environment. You will have knowledge of SOX, experience of preparing statutory accounts and ideally providing guidance in relation to new standards. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to partner across the business and with senior stakeholders. This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant that is perhaps looking to return to work after some time out and have flexibility.
