A household name and employer of choice based Bradford, West Yorkshire is now seeking to appoint a Group Financial Accountant. Taking ownership of the group reporting requirements this role will support the group consolidations, senior management reporting whilst also managing both internal and external relations with the banks, operational heads as well as ensuring the group is adhering to financial control and process. Taking the financial lead with regards to group projects, this role will be responsible for

- Budgeting and forecasting

- Monthly management accounting

- Statutory accounting

- VAT, tax and treasury

As Group Financial Accountant you will play a hugely visible role in managing internal and external stakeholders as well as ensuring the accurate internal and external reporting is achieved and delivered in a timely manner.

Essentially this role would suit a qualified ACA/ACCA accountant ideally with post qualified experience. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills combined with report writing ability. Essentially you will be able to challenge and question the financial controls whilst playing a visible role in the wider business.
