The purpose of the role is to drive the implementation of any IFRS changes across the group alongside this you will be involved in the preparation of the annual report. You will assist with the integration of acquisitions into the group and work on additional project work when required.

Your duties will involve the following:

  • Assess the impact of IFRS changes on the group together with implementation of requirements across the group
  • Give the necessary support with the integration of acquisitions into the group
  • Engage in the preparation of the group annual report
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly group financial statements as required
  • Liaise with management reporting teams and group teams to ensure reporting is comprehensive and accurate
  • Continually review data quality and completeness, with resolution of any identified gaps
  • Liaising with group companies regarding reporting requirements
  • Preparation of audit files and assist in management of the audit process
  • Ongoing review and assessment of controls and working with process integration to implement or enhance internal controls
  • Work with Business Finance Managers, Internal Audit and Process Integration on the identification of and resolution of control issues and process improvements
  • Engage in relevant project work and key initiatives when required

The ideal candidate will be qualified with 1 years+ PQE and relevant experience in a similar role or a demonstrated ability to carry out the above duties. IFRS exposure would be an advantage.

This role will provide the successful candidate with versatile experience and allow you to gain exposure to senior stakeholders in the business on a daily basis.
