A leading global healthcare company are seeking a Group Financial Reporting Manager to join their Central London based office. You will be tasked with both statutory reporting and technical accounting work. This role is due to be 6 months in duration, with potential to be extended or to enter permanency for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of the Group's consolidated statutory accounts for Full Year and Half Year;
  • Preparation of the statutory accounts and disclosures for the Group's UK Insurance entity for Full Year
  • To gather, manage and monitor the integrity of the management and financial data used for all reporting to the Group Board including management accounts, forecasts and the three year plan
  • Ensure Financial Accounting throughout the Group complies with the latest accounting guidance and promote best practice
  • Report writing to the Group's Board and sub-committees, bringing to their attention key accounting issues, areas of judgement and technical developments
  • Provide advice and guidance to facilitate the accounting for complex commercial transactions

Candidate Requirements:

  • YOU MUST COME FROM A COMMERCIAL AND INSURANCE BACKGROUND
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA)
  • Must have IFRS & GAAP experience
  • Must have solvency experience
  • Experience working within TM1 and Tagetik is a massive bonus
  • Advanced excel skills are necessary
