Reporting into the Group CFO, you will be expected to provide the group with an effective internal audit function and ensure delivery of the internal audit programme supporting the risk management strategy and group internal controls.

Specifically, you will deliver the group audit plan in agreement with the Audit Committee and report on the results of that plan including the implementation of recommendations, effectiveness of risk management structures and controls and reporting frameworks.

Additionally, you will oversee contract management for outsourced providers, support Corporate Governance activities and offer advisory support on Group projects.

The ideal candidate will have qualified within one of the Top 10 accounting firms and will be able to demonstrate experience within external and/or internal audit and risk management as well as have exposure to working within either UK/Irish or multinational PLCs.

If you also have IIA qualifications and/or project management qualifications then this would be advantageous.
