My Client, a leader in the American & European Hospitality Sector, is looking for a Group Reporting Accountant to join their team on a temp to perm basis.
Job description
What's the role?
Reporting to the Manager, Group Reporting, you will:
- Support the preparation of externally released quarterly and year-end IFRS16 financial statements.
- Support the preparation of externally released documents, including the annual report, trading and operational updates, and other media releases.
- Support finance streams of projects with internal stakeholders such as Group Tax, Group Legal and Treasury.
- Support the development and implementation of appropriate and robust accounting/financial procedures
- Assist in the preparation of responses to internal and external auditors and make recommendations for remedial action where necessary
Who are you?
- Big 4 background; Chartered Accountancy qualifications; min 1+ years post-qualified experience
- Previous financial reporting and technical accounting experience involving the consolidation of large and complex groups
- Experience managing financial consolidation systems (HFM or Onestream)
- Experience with IFRS
- Strong organisational and communications skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to engage stakeholders and build meaningful relationships
- Effective project management and delivery
- Motivated high performer with strong career aspirations
