Marks Sattin are delighted to be working in partnership with a South Yorkshire employer of choice to recruit a Group Tax & Treasury Accountant.

Due to a period of sustained organic growth and several acquisitions, this is an exciting time to join a rapidly expanding business in a newly created Group Tax & Treasury Accountant role. Reporting to the Head of Tax & Treasury, the successful candidate will be responsible for the direct and indirect tax compliance of the group for both the UK and overseas entities. You will also manage the relationships with the external tax advisors and HMRC. From a treasury perspective, you will be involved in various back office functions such as deal confirmations, the settlement of derivatives and hedging. You will also be involved in managing the relationships with the banks.

This role is suited to a qualified tax specialist with a backround in either corporate tax or VAT. Alternatively, you may be a qualified Accountant or Auditor with an awareness of tax and a desire to move into specialist tax and treasury role. It is essential that you are a strong team player that is willing to get stuck in to a wide and varied role and also support the wider finance team as and when required.
