We are working with a long established, global private equity house who are searching for a highly motivated qualified accountant to sit within their firm finance team. There are few firms with this kind of market reputation and this is a wonderful chance to leverage off your experience in this dynamic and lucrative sector.

The company in question is one of the top global names in private equity and is going through an exciting time in terms of both fund expansion and internal development. They are just about to launch their sixth fund at €2bn and, in a first for the business, are building a dedicated growth opportunities fund. This coupled with massive investment in systems and support functions make it a brilliant time to join the business.

The role itself sits in the firm finance team in their London office. The structure of the finance team is very flat and everyone in the team tackles a broad spectrum of work; the successful applicant would be able to come in and specialise in their strengths whilst also broadening their overall skillset, opening up numerous paths of professional development down the line. Specifically the team works across financial accounting and reporting, expenditure analysis and project work.

In this role you would have direct contact with the partners so excellent interpersonal skills are essential; they are looking for someone who is highly motivated and who enjoys working with a high degree of autonomy.

In terms of remuneration they are open depending on experience, they just want an excellent candidate who is excited at the prospect of a challenging new role. On top of the base salary there is strong discretionary bonus potential and other excellent benefits including free on-site gym and lunch facilities.
