The Head of Commercial Finance will report directly to the Finance Director, lead the commercial finance function and act as a senior business partner to the commercial teams.

My client is a large FMCG business and to be considered for the position of Head of Commercial Finance, candidates must have a strong FMCG background within large businesses.

Key duties as Head of Commercial Finance include:

• Lead a team of 4 x Commercial Finance Managers providing business partnering to the commercial team
• Act as the finance lead for the commercial finance team
• Ensuring robust budgeting, forecasting, reporting, strong internal controls and driving performance in profit and working capital
• Shape and deliver strategy and support the Head of Commercial in defining and delivering the Commercial strategies for the business
• Lead the commercial forecasting and budgeting processes, providing insight & challenge and ensuring a clear understanding of performance drivers, risks & opportunities

To be considered for the position of Head of Commercial Finance , candidates must be/have:

• Fully qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years PQE
• Strong experience within a large FMCG business
• Personable and able to act as a senior business partner to drive key relationships
• Ambitions to move up to a more senior role within 18-24 months
