Our client, a market leader in their specialist field of technology, are currently searching for a Head of Management Accounts, due to their current postholder going on maternity leave.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and managing a team of 6, you will be responsible for the following:-

• Preparing timely and accurate management information to meet the needs of the Senior Management team
• Co-ordinating and completing the annual budget and forecasting process
• Consolidating the year end group accounts and the preparation of the year end statutory accounts ensuring full compliance with FRS102.

Alongside this you will be expected to lead, motivate and develop the direct reports, acting as a positive role model and ensuring that responsibilities are carried out to a high standard. Furthermore, as a member of the Senior Management team you will be involved in general process improvement, regular liaison with the Executive board and ad hoc project work.

You will be a highly experienced Qualified Accountant who can demonstrate excellent management ability, business partnering to maximise profitability and excellent stakeholder management skills.

This role is initially offered on a contract of approximately 15 months.
