A global leading specialist in technology, finance and administrative services are seeking a Head of Strategic Pricing to join the Digital Divisional team.

The role is responsible for the development and implementation of products pricing strategy across the Division to optimise Equiniti's commercial objectives around revenue growth and margin optimisation. Duties will include:

  • Researching competitor pricing practices and determining strategic pricing process;
  • Develop commercial strategy, standardisation and best practice for new products and services;
  • Adapt pricing strategy to protect existing pricing power and manage price movements in line with existing economic environments
  • Support the Commercial Finance team in developing and maintaining a database for pricing
  • Ensuring all stakeholders fully understand and adhere strategic pricing policies and framework
  • Setting and adjusting target pricing levels to maximise margin and revenue
  • Manage price change requests for the existing contracts from the Sales team by evaluating impacts on margin/revenue
  • Standardising approach to Price Change requests and developing templates for the Sales division
  • Challenging the Sales community when opportunities appear to generate low margin/ inconsistent pricing
  • Supporting the Divisional Management and the Commercial Finance team in developing monthly management information to track of all historic pricing

Suitable candidates will ideally have a good understanding of regtech software, solutions and data analytics products pricing across the industry, in the UK and ideally the US. You will be an expert in pricing methodologies and market benchmarks for SaaS, subscription and perpetual software licencing options. Candidates should be a critical and strategic thinker with the ability to effectively execute against action plans and initiatives.
