Excited to be partnering a highly reputable and growing business who are recruiting for the first Tax Manager to work very closely with the Head of Department.

Going through an exciting transition, my client is currently stepping away from the outsourced model and is looking at bringing in house the tax accounting. You will play a crucial role where you will be offering advice, support and technical challenge to the business, ensuring that you are able to transition the business through his period of change, but also manage the risk very carefully.

With strong plans to grow, any exposure to international tax would be advantageous as they client looks to break into new territories and as such, will look for support on how to structure this accordingly.

You will have responsibility for:

  • Tax planning and forecasting working closely with the wider finance team to ensure effective cost control.
  • Taking full ownership for managing the overall relationship with HMRC.
  • Completion of year end and half year tax provision workings
  • First point of contact for VAT queries

Ideally you will be fully qualified (CTA, ACA, ACCA, ATT) and have a proven experience working in corporate tax. You will have the ability to take fully ownership and manage the transition of an outsourced model in to something managed internally by you.
