This rare opportunity has arisen due to internal promotion and as such you will be well supported by an inspiring and experienced Finance Director. Ideally suited to a professional contractor, this is an excellent opportunity to take on a broad role and be part of an entrepreneurial business in an exciting industry.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will hold responsibility over core financial functions of the group companies. Examples of your responsibilities will include:

• Financial reporting such as international group management accounts, board packs and P&L;
• Assist in the production of the annual budgeting and forecasting process;
• Overseeing the preparation of statutory reporting & VAT returns;
• Liaising with external auditors;
• Assisting the FD with commercial modelling for new business opportunities;
• Managing and mentoring several direct reports;
• Adhoc project work as required

Ideal candidate:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
• Good technical knowledge
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Confident, excellent communication skills & willingness to engage with financial and non-financial staff alike
• Enjoys thinking outside the box to come to solutions
• Desire to work in fast-paced, social environment
