Start your job searchMarks Sattin are delighted to be exclusively partnering a leading manufacturing business in the heart of Goole recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller reporting directly to the FD. This role is a 3-6 month contract due to the current incumbent relocating in which this role is to provide cover whilst a permanent person is appointed.
The position will play an integral part in getting the team through year-end and developing existing team members with personal and professional development. The successful individual will run the finance department and manage a small team of 5 whilst playing a leading role in the various manufacturing projects and process improvement. The duties will be varied and include:
- Experience of working with standard costs
- Experience of Stock management
- Good experience of ledger management - credit and purchase side.
- Production management and financial accounts including year-end prep
- Managing a team of 5 including transactional finance
- Budgeting and quarterly forecasting
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with previous FM/FC experience ideally in a small to medium sized manufacturing business. You must have managed a team in the past and product costing/stock accounting experience is desirable. Please apply immediately to be considered as interviews will take place W/C 22nd April.
