Start your job searchExclusively recruiting an Interim Financial Controller for a leading international manufacturer based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This role has arisen due to a maternity cover that will last for a minimum of 6 months, the role will report into the FD and manage a small transactional finance team.
This is an integral role responsible for maintaining accurate recording of financial information and regular reporting of the same to senior staff including the production of monthly Management and Group Accounts to timetable issued by the Financial Director. To maintain and report on established financial controls and to implement improvement identified by the Financial Director and Internal Audit Team.
- Collating, preparing and interpreting monthly accounts, reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
- Maintain appropriate systems for measuring all necessary aspects of financial management resource and development according to agreed budgets and KPI's.
- Reporting and accounting as per regulatory and legal requirements including taxation, dividends, annual report and accounts.
- Preparation of weekly cash forecasts.
- Maintenance and Enhancement of Internal Controls.
- Reporting of hedging positions.
- Manage, appraise and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant who is able to start in December, ideally you will have a FMCG/Manufacturing background with strong financial controls and processes experience. SAP and advanced Excel skills are a huge advantage, please apply immediately to be considered.
