Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Operations Accountant will with the support of an Assistant Accountant, be responsible for preparing the monthly accounts for UK. Reviewing all overhead costs on a monthly basis and highlight any discrepancies to budget and forecast. You will be the key contact for budget holders. 

Main duties will include:
*Conduct monthly management accounts review and clearly understand the costs and variances to budget and forecast
*Communicate results with budget holders and to the CFO
*Work with budget holders to ensure they are in line with commercial targets including attending meetings with key budget holders
*Produce annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for costs including detailed analysis
*Manage workload of your Assistant Accountant on intercompany accounting
*Work closely with the Group FD and provide analysis where required
*Prepare and report month end accounts for group entities 
*Management responsibility of the Assistant Accountant, help to produce and review training plans
*Ensure all balance sheet accounts are prepared and reviewed and necessary action flagged where required
