A leading FMCG business with a reputable and recognised brand portfolio is currently seeking an astute and commercial Supply Chain Finance Analyst to work with their successful business support team. As an interim contract, the role will support the business in achieving planned strategies and goals, whilst providing finance support where required, with a particular focus on costs. You will ensure that the correct financial controls are implemented in all areas of supply and drive efficiencies and improvements where needed.

Working closely with senior management, the responsibilities and duties will be broad and varied. You will manage the financial reporting process in relation to supply and provide management reporting on results and overheads, budgeting, forecasting and costs. You will work closely with supply chain teams to aid in operational decisions and targets, advising on adherence to accounting requirements where necessary.

The successful applicant will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and hold a numerate degree. You will also be able to demonstrate business partnering and influencing skills, ideally from the Food Manufacturing/ FMCG or Retail industry. SAP experience and knowledge will be beneficial. The role is a 6mth contract but is likely to become a longer-term contract based on predicted business requirements into 2018/2019. This is an influential role that offers an excellent opportunity to develop business performance.
