Internal Auditor / £25K - £30K + Study Support / Blackburn / Permanent

My client is looking for an experienced & part qualified finance professional, actively studying towards CIMA or ACCA. The role offers a competitive salary plus study support, with a fantastic working environment.

Duties:

• Deliver audits and agree audit actions required with senior stakeholders
• Implement internal audit work to obtain evidence to support audit conclusions
• Apply knowledge of best-practice finance and operational business procedures and controls
• Write audit reports detailing findings and write recommendations for improvement
• Effective communication skills at all levels of seniority
• Maintain a proactive and highly flexible approach to deal effectively with the business
• Ensure implementation of improvement opportunities, outlined by internal audit investigations
• Monitor and support the closure of audit actions agreed
• Support the central finance team with key periods and ad-hoc projects, as required

Experience required:

• CIMA / ACCA part qualified
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
