An expanding infrastructure business is searching for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their team in London.

The purpose of this role is to provide assurance to the audit team and implement control improvements to the business.

• Audit Planning and field work: assist in devising the annual audit plan and meeting with stakeholders to understand and test key controls
• Audit Issue tracking & Audit Reporting: Monitoring of control recommendations and drafting audit reports
• A strong understanding of IFRS and SOX
• Internal Audit: Making improvements to the practices and methods in the Audit department.
• Risk Management: Helping stakeholders monitor and effectively manage business risks

The successful candidate will ideally come from a big 4 background with a proactive approach to their work. Due to ad-hoc projects and deadlines, the ability to multi-task and work under pressure is essential.

You should be ACA/ACCA qualified and have Internal Audit and risk experience. Knowledge and understanding of internal controls is a must. You must be a clear communicator and be able to bring a new energy to Audit. In return you will be rewarded with a salary from £45-55k with various benefits.
