Marks Sattin has an exceptional assignment where my client is looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst who is able to work in the research & development department. Working closely with the innovation team, you will be forming part of an exciting and newly developed team investigating new technologies that could revolutionise the way our client works.

In this team, you will be at the forefront of technological advancement and you will be providing information which will ultimately be relied on by the Executive Committee as well as the Board.

In the role you will:-

• Undertake management of multiple investment cases across a range of technologies.
• Develop financial models, supporting assumptions and analytical outputs to support recommendations.
• Not just be using traditional investment appraisal methods but also have the ability to support the team with "sparring" around high level financial feasibility assessments, alternative valuation approaches etc

You will ideally be:-

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with PQE (2+ years) within a relevant business environment or in practice within a transaction services or corporate finance roles

Excellent commercial awareness (with specific experience in investment appraisal
