Rapidly growing global SME investment firm seek an experienced IT Operations Engineer as part of an exciting Greenfield transformation programme, allowing the business greater agility & efficiencies of services. This IT Operations role will be entrusted with maintaining and upgrading legacy architecture, execute implementations and providing day to day support in managing all aspects of the organisations Desktop and Mobile Computing infrastructure. Most importantly, your work will improve the experience our employees have with services delivered to their client endpoint devices. Responsibilities/Expertise:

• Delivering 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support
• Demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
• Administering the corporate network/firewall
• Recommending and delivering improved 'Infrastructure As Code' solutions
• Planning and recommending enhancements to ensure that IT capacity meets current and future business requirements in a cost effective manner
• Managing IT projects to meet pre-defined objectives
• Previous experience as: IT Operations Engineer
• IT Operations Engineer will be part of an ambitious transformation programme that will transform the company, leveraging cloud services and functionality for IT services.
• Be principally involved in the creation of exciting Greenfield capabilities and products.
• Working closely with MSP's so previous experience of working either with or for an MSP/Vendors is essential.
• Create infrastructure and environments to support their platform and applications using Terraform, Ansible and other related technologies to ensure all environments are controlled and consistent.
• 10+ years of experience within IT Operations with some exposure of DevOps as the organisation looks to create a DevOps environment within the next 2 years.
• Must have experience of Azure and ideally also AWS.
• Ideally you have experience of transformation of legacy systems to cloud.
• Strong background in Windows is a must with Office365 experience advantageous.
• Previous experience in both blue chip and SME Financial Services firms would be ideal.
