A worldwide asset management company is looking for a junior financial accountant to join their London office. They employ 350 people throughout their 6 offices worldwide and have $65 billion assets under management.

This position is for an individual who already has a year's experience within accounting and a strong desire to gain an accounting qualification. The company in question is providing study support towards either the ACCA or CIMA qualification.

Responsibilities:

• Performing bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and reconciliations
• Management of foreign currency process - preparing and logging currency orders, checking returned currency and expense reports, maintaining tracking spreadsheet and ordering additional foreign currency.
• Assist with the accounts payable function across all entities
• Preparation of the ONS returns
• Provide support to the entire corporate accounting team during the month end process and on an ad hoc basis
• RBC reporting on a monthly basis
• Cover for the Group Travel process

Requirements

• Must have at least a 2.1 University degree
• Must have 1 year of relevant accounting experience
