Junior Financial Accountant - The role is a junior financial accountant with great exposure to balance sheets which could be great for you if you're currently studying towards your AAT, ACCA or CIMA. This role would be an ideal first job in finance and will allow you to gain exposure to:
- Preparing and maintaining journals
- Accruals/prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Cost analysis schedules
- Cash flow management
- Budgets
- Variance Analysis
You'll be proficient in Excel skills and may have the ability to produce pivot tables and V-Lookups, however, this skill is preferable and not essential and training would be provided. If you're looking for some really strong training and personal development, this role will really suit you, and you'll be working alongside some real high flyers who are great mentors.
The company is recently undergoing expansion so this is an ideal opportunity for someone to come in, add value, and assist the business with cost analysis and money saving strategies. As well as this, they are looking for somebody that is driven, ambitious and has some great personal goals including becoming a qualified accountant. You'll be able to communicate well interpersonally and will want to develop great relationships internally and externally across the business.
