Then this role could be for you, my client are a cool technolgy buisness with a newly aligned payroll function harboring plenty of opportunity for growth and development. The lucky incumbant will ideally be a junior payroll administrator with enough get up and go about them to work independantly as well as in groups and who has a strong foundation in UK payroll with the desire to understand and hacve initial involvment with some EU payrolls too.

You will be involved with day to day:

  • Train and manage up to 3 Payroll Administrators across approximately 7 EMEA payrolls.
  • Run and manage director payrolls and modified payrolls operated for international assignees.
  • Monitor all key filings in each country and ensure all monthly, quarterly and annual tax filings and payments are made on time.
  • Identify, anticipate and plan for any one-off activities required to support the business e.g. budgets, year-end reporting, and changes to the bonus schedule and Restricted Stock Units.
  • Improve communication with the end users and business as a whole.
  • Build and manage individual relationships with each HR manager to support each country.
  • Build and manage OSP relationships across EMEA using the OSP functionality to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of the running of each payroll.
  • Review and approve all payrolls prior to payment.
  • Work with EMEA Payroll reconciliation and MI team to capture and resolve any issues that need to be addressed in future payrolls.
  • Maintain all process documentation and work instructions to support SOX requirements.
  • Other ad hoc audit activity and reporting as required.
