Are you an experienced Ledger Clerk looking to take a step up in your career? Or maybe you're looking to develop your skills on a more technical and managerial level.

The purpose of the role is to support the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger functions and assist in delivering financial controls and transactional activities across the business.

Where you will fit…

You'll be joining a developing a fast pace business within a role that offers flexibility your approach and method of working.

Role:

• Validate and review all monthly balance sheet reconciliation associated with trade creditors, including resolving issues in a timely manner
• Work with the procurement team to ensure P2P procedures is up-to-date
• Ensure the bank is fully reconciled and all transactions uploaded within the daily and weekly deadlines and distributed to relevant teams members
• Ensure high levels of customer service are met, including measuring KPI's on our customer service levels
• Assist with external and internal audits
• Responsible for monthly cost accruals and prepayments, support the management accountants with full balance sheet reconciliations

What you need?

You'll need to have a strong understanding of all Purchase and Sales Ledger functions from end to end with familiarity of working on a variety of financial information systems. You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to engage with key stakeholders at all levels. The ability to use your own initiative and attention to details is a must while having a hardworking, proactive and positive approach. The ideal candidate will have a financial qualification (AAT qualified) or demonstrate QBE.
