Legal Biller - London

A premium international law firm with international reach are looking for a Legal Biller on a 6 month fixed term contract. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring smooth day to day running of all functions. In this role you will be responsible for processing of bills in a timely and accurate manner, across the UK and International Offices.

Responsibilities:

• Raising bills and credit notes in the firms practice management system in accordance with the firms policies
• Editing bills and returning to the business
• Manage client specific billing arrangements
• Liaising with partners, fee earners and PA's to resolve queries
• Process time and disbursements write off's and transfers
• Work closely with other members of the finance team on ad-hoc tasks
• Previous working knowledge of Elite Enterprise and Paperless Proforma is preferred
• A background of billing in a professional services environment
• Detailed knowledge of VAT rules in a legal environment (specifically relating to UK Land and EU VAT)
• Knowledge of "disbursements for VAT" as referred to by SRA
• Flexible attitude to endure deadlines met at all times
