My client is looking for a commercially focused accountant to join there FP&A team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a forward thinking individual who wants to join a business where they can progress and add a lot of value to your CV therefore career progression is a given.

Role Details:

• Commercial accountant within FP&A, primarily into logistics function.
• Responsible mainly for delivering planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Including Short term and annual planning/budgeting
• Main support is analytical, benefits tracking and general performance management control (some transactional work - accruals etc.)
• Supporting analysis of creation of short or mid-term plans or performance against those plans
• Also a broad responsibility around process improvement - accountability of driving continuous performance improvement - streamline and automate as much as possible

To be considered for this role you will be:

• CIMA, ACA or ACCA - Qualified accountant or part qualified (there is an opportunity for sponsorship)
• Individuals with experience of FP&A work (i.e. creation of plans, monitoring of plans, cost driving etc.)
• Good presentation and communication skills - will spend time presenting and explaining their analysis so this is important
• Ability to summarise large data sets
• Good analytical skills
• Proficient in excel or experience in SAP (SAP can be beneficial but not as much as excel)
• Being able to manage multiple stakeholders
