Our Client, at Marks Sattin, is a group of SME's successfully participating in property development and investments. Due to the continued expansion, they are now looking to appoint an equally successful Management Accountant / Finance Manager.

The Role

• Oversee all company accounts and investments
• Create monthly management accounts and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
• Variance analysis for monthly management accounts
• Produce and manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
• Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing
• Develop budgets and financial plans for the company
• Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities
• Produce presentations for external funding
• Ad-hoc responsibilities for insurances, HR and GDPR

The Candidate

• Ideally qualified at either ACA/ACCA/CIMA; or experience to match

• Experience in Property or Construction is desired

• Ability to lead a small team in the finance department

• Competent in reporting to directors

• Experience in accounting for Deferred Income and WIP - Key components of property accounting

• Be able to show that you have leadership and interpersonal skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills

Salary - £30,000 to £38,000 depending on experience.
