Marks Sattin are currently working with a n entertainment company to recruit a management accountant based in their London office initially on a 6 month FTC

This position would suit a high energy management accountant with recent retail experience that is looking to enhance their skills with a high performing team and be supported by a well-respected finance manager.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be involved with financial and management reporting in addition to some analytical work and liaising with operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Management reporting
• Month end journals
• Budget Modelling
• Budget preparation
• Financial Analysis
• Cashflow forecasting
• Maintaining fixed asset register
• Liaising with operations and explaining financials to non-accounting staff

The Requirements

• Essential

  • Qualified Accountant - ACCA/CIMA/ACA
  • Used to working with large volumes of data, analysing and providing insights.
  • Strong Forecasting & Modelling experience essential
  • Experience gained in Retail, Leisure, Hospitality sectors. Ideally with Capital and Fixed Assets.
  • Solid experience of reconciliation of large volumes of data.
  • A team player
  • Able to demonstrate examples of proactively engaging, guiding, supporting and recommending solutions to improve profit performance, the transparency of performance and key processes
  • Experience of producing variance analysis and commentary
  • Extensive knowledge working with Excel
