The Client:

My client is a global leader is their industry, a Fortune 500 business employing over 55,000 employees world wide in over 130 countries.

The Role:

Providing primary financial support and control to the Banking line of business across EMEA in conjunction with other members of the EMEA Finance team.

The Accountabilities:

- Month end submissions (actuals and forecast) for the Banking line of business

- Undertake analysis to ensure financial controls and processes are in place

- Regular engagement with the Sales and Delivery teams to understand project issues, changes and any upcoming red flags to be escalated prior to month end submissions

- Provision of support for major Utility projects

- Preparation of income statement analytics for the Banking line of business

- Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations

- Any other tasks as and when required.

The ideal candidate:

- Qualified or finalist level in any relevant professional accounting competency

- Ability to rigorously challenge & prove cost assumptions against industry / company standard and budget

- Experience of pricing and commercial proposals

- Knowledge of IT environment cost models

- High technical ability with total integrity

- Previous exposure to commercial bids and negotiations
