Management Accountant

Salary: £45,000

Location: South Manchester

A hugely successful international engineering company is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join there dynamic finance team. The position is reporting directly to the Financial Controller and will offer the successful candidate exposure to financial accounts as well as management accounts.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monthly reporting including results analysis and commentary, cash flow forecasting, budget ownership and monthly forecast ownership.
• Responsible for the achievement of key deliverables by the Finance team including budgets, month end reporting and day to day business activities.
• Benchmarking European performance against other units within the Group and external including but no limited to sales prices, margins, operating performance and cash flows with a view to aid decision making and improve return on sales.
• Identify and suggest improvements to the internal controls to limit risk across the European business.
• Day to day running of a small finance team including task allocation.
• Profit and Loss analysis and financial reporting support.

Experience Required:

• Qualified in either ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA
• 2 years experience in a fast paced accounting function
• Previous experience in Industry is desirable but not necessary
