A leading Legal firm is seeking a Management Accountant to join their Central London offices. The role is expected to be 9-12 months in duration with the strong potential to either be extended or to enter permanency.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts, including P& L, balance sheet and cash flows
• Assisting with month end processes, as well as implementing controls to improve reporting efficiencies
• Preparing budgets and forecasts, as well as variance analysis on company accounts
• Preparing reconciliations ensuring that that controls are implemented to assist with month end processes
• Preparing performance analysis concerning business performance
• Liaising with non-financial operations across the business, providing financial analysis for effective decision making

Essential skills:

• Previous experience preparing management accountant
• ACA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent with up to 3 years PQE
