Our client, a market leading, international, professional services business based in the heart of Manchester city centre are currently searching for an experienced Management Accountant to join their specialist finance team.

The role is available due to an internal promotion and the succesful candidate will be responsible for the following:-

• Producing Monthly management accounts for the UK and Europe including,
• Income statement and balance sheet reconciliations
• Commentary on performance and explanation of variance
• Preparation of the monthly Directors' Review Pack
• Calculation of the sales commissions for approval
• Support to the senior management and sales teams
• Systems and process projects to deliver improved business efficiency
• Responsible for adhering to all internal policy and procedures and to ensure robust financial controls

This is a great opportunity to join a company currently going through an exciting period of change, as they transition to a new internal IT system over the next couple of years. In addition to the main responsibilities there will be the chance to be involved in various projects across Finance as the new system is tested, and ultimately launched across the business. You will ideally be an enthusiastic, part or newly qualified Accountant looking for a role in which to enhance your technical accounting knowledge and develop in a key role within the Finance team.
