An Exciting opportunity has arisen for a global media company based in central London on a 5 month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will be working into the financial controller working as a part of a team of 7 in a creative, fun environment. One of the exciting element of the role would be reviewing AP, AR and inter company ledgers and give support when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for all pre payments and accruals

• Update consolidated file with actuals all P&L's

• Roll over month end reporting files for all reporting entities
• Journal Preparation for posting

• Constantly ensuring and improving SOX compliance across all reporting & processes

• Be a point of contact for year end auditors

Key Skills

• Must be ACCA/CIMA part qualified
• Excellent excel skills are essential
• Experience of completing general ledger reconciliations
• Extremely high attention to detail/ working autonomously
• Experience of SOX compliance desirable
• Knowledge of Maconomy desirable but not essential
