A central London based legal firm needs the skill set of a Management Accountant to join their offices. This position is due to last 9 - 12 months in duration, however there is a strong potential to be extended or enter permanency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production of the monthly management accounts and provision of the management information.
• Assisting with the regular schedule of activities associated with the month end and year end close
• Maintaining the ledgers for assigned entities and supporting the production of the monthly management accounts, including review of the profit and loss account, processing accruals and other journals
• Ensure adequate control, reconciliation and review of all accounts
• Completion of month end and year end processes to ensure timetables are met and the production of reliable and accurate financial/management information

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE
• High level of skill in Excel and Word is essential
• Excellent communication skills - Written and Verbal
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and work as part of a team
