Management Accountant - London

A fast-growing Advertising company in London are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their expanding finance division. This role will be a 6 month fixed term contract which is likely to be made permanent dependent on performance while in the role. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring smooth day to day running of all functions.

Ideally you will have experience of working in a fast moving small business environment, and you must be willing to show flexibility in the duties you undertake.

Details:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts. Deliver month end GM reports and analyse variances to forecast, budget and prior year.
• Maintain control of the balance sheet. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, making sure that supporting evidence is filed and that reconciling items are cleared on a monthly basis.
• Ensure strong financial controls and processes are being maintained and to always strive in ensuring best practice is being implemented and exercised.
• Responsible for the weekly pipeline reporting to key stakeholders and ensuring information provided is accurate and is able to give commercial insight to management and client teams.
• Assist in preparing meaningful time reporting to management by providing useful insight and analysis.
• Assist with finance training of new starters as part of their induction process.
• Assist in the review of business costs and the identification of potential cost savings.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure processes surrounding control of company assets is carried out.
• Assist where necessary in the year-end reporting and deliverables and responding to queries in a timely manner.
• Providing support to the business for any day to day queries and ensure we are helpful and collaborative as well as maintaining a positive internal profile within the business.
