Marks Sattin are currently partnering a well-established business in Wolverhampton who are looking to secure a Management Accountant for their FP&A team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will work closely with key stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and take ownership of the management accounting process for several projects from start to finish, ensuring that accounting and reporting requirements are delivered and control standards met.

Key duties as Management Accountant include:

• Production of monthly management accounts and preparation of periodic budgets and forecasts
• Completion of audit packs to assist in interim / annual audit process
• Production and reporting of cashflow forecasts
• Reporting and explanation of variances to profit centre managers

To be considered for the position of Management Accountant, candidates must be/have:

• Studying towards an accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA) with an aim to be fully qualified within 18 months
• Ability to translate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and drive to go above and beyond at all times
